Alpen Products Take Top Spot on ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient List for 2024
In the latest release of ENERGY STAR's Most Efficient list for 2024, select product variations from Alpen's Zenith line, including the Fixed High and Low Profile Picture Windows, have claimed the top spots. Additionally, our operable fiberglass Zenith series has also achieved ENERGY STAR's 'most efficient' rating, reaffirming our dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions for both commercial and residential applications.
Our Tyrol line is currently undergoing laboratory testing with certification expected in the coming months.
This recognition arrives at a pivotal juncture, coinciding with ENERGY STAR's recent transition to its 7.0 criteria, which signifies a heightened focus on energy efficiency standards. Products that pass rigorous testing and meet an even tighter set of criteria are awarded the prestigious designation of ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient for the year. As builders and homeowners seek solutions that align with these higher standards, Alpen remains at the forefront, offering a wide range of qualifying windows and doors.
NOTE: Performance criteria for windows and skylights are based on ratings certified by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC), and vary for each climate zone.

One of the many benefits of choosing Alpen's ENERGY STAR Most Efficient rated products is the eligibility for tax credits. The U.S. Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit provides homeowners with valuable savings while promoting energy-efficient upgrades. All certified Alpen windows and doors that have an ENERGY STAR certification and a rating of "Most Efficient," qualify for a tax credit of up to $1,100.
