Today we hit a high of 115 degrees in downtown Vancouver, which beats the previous all-time record of 108 set yesterday. This is absolutely unprecedented here, and I just wanted to preface this by setting that stage . . . The building with WinSert installed is performing amazingly. I remember previous 95- and 100-degree days when it would be 90 degrees on the southwest facing rooms in the afternoon and there'd be nothing I could do about it, so to see the entire fourth floor within one degree of setpoint at 72 degrees is an absolute confirmation that these windows work.

The windows have been performing remarkably.  We have had a terrible heatwave last week and the offices we installed the windows have maintained a comfortable 73 degrees and lower room temp.  In the past the corner office would be hard to keep below 77 in the 90-degree heat.  We have also seen that the required CFM into that office has been reduced pretty dramatically.  Where sometimes it is only calling for half the volume of air that it normally would be calling for to maintain temps.  The surface temps of the windows are staying in the mid 80’s on hot days where the neighboring windows are hitting 110 degrees and higher.  The other corner office that has the north and south facing windows that we did not do yet has been staying 3 to 4 degrees higher in temp than we have the room set for and this room only gets the sun until early afternoon.  While the corner office you installed the windows in which, gets full sun all day, is staying within 1 degree of the desired temp. The space was dramatically improved by the Winset Plus installation. The thermal, acoustic, and aesthetic improvements exceeded our expectations, and truly transform the space. The installation went quick and smoothly. When reviewing the windows, most of the team didn't realize they were installed, as they seamlessly blended in with the existing windows. We look forward to getting the rest of the Winsets installed so that people visiting the Seattle area can comfortably experience this wonderful, historic hotel.

Night and day increase in comfort from a thermal standpoint and an acoustics standpoint. Darn near invisible sightlines which is perfect for a historic structure. Overall a fantastic product and they make a MASSIVE difference in the "livability" of our structure.  Perfect product for the application.  We are absolutely thrilled with the product.

The winserts have made a huge difference in the office.   The A/C system can now keep up in the afternoon and the temperature along the windows, even during the current heat wave, is very comfortable.  In the past, we would joke that if the microwave was occupied at lunchtime, just put your lunch next to the west windows of our office and it would be ready to eat in no time.  That is no longer the case!
