The Fargo House

In Louisville's Old Town District, Fargo exemplifies innovative design and energy efficiency. This compact home, on a narrow 37-½ foot lot, blends modern aesthetics with historic charm and achieves net-zero energy consumption.

Designed by a former Apple engineer, The Fargo House features easy outdoor access, an indoor-outdoor kitchen, and minimal maintenance. The three-story layout includes a ground level, upper level, and subterranean basement, with a setback second level creating a partial rooftop deck.

Solar panels and a geothermal heat pump provide heating, cooling, and hot water, making Fargo Louisville's first fully electrified net-zero property. Thoughtful landscaping enhances the home and pedestrian experience, with a welcoming front porch and seamless indoor-outdoor transitions at the rear. The Fargo House showcases Alpen's commitment to high-performance, energy-efficient window and door solutions, merging modern design with sustainable living.
